flower resolution

I wish I had a fireplace so I could have this be my summertime mantle. I am in love with all the pink flowers.

I wish I made it a priority to buy fresh flowers more often. I used to do it all the time. It's amazing how many little bouquets you can get from one big bunch of Costco flowers. Trader Joe's, if you have one near you, {I don't anymore}has my favorite budget flowers. Flowers can brighten up the house and it just makes me happy. Let's face it.

I will buy more fresh flowers! I will! I will!

I'm curious, how often do you buy flowers for your home? I think it is so fun to do but it can add up. I tried to convince my hubby to plant peonies this year but he didn't want to...maybe next year.

  1. After I move in August, I hope I can find a farmer's market close by and buy flowers there if I can afford it. When I lived in my last apartment I bought flowers about once a month from Wal-mart. They're cheap and they last a fairly long time.

  3. I LOVE fresh flowers, but I typically only get them when I am expecting company or celebrating an event. You are right-they are expensive. The living room in the first picture is GORGEOUS!

  5. I love that first image as well and commented on another blog that the flowers were my favorite part of the vignette! Anyway, I don't usually buy fresh flowers. Luckily, I have enough growing around the house and pretty weeds to get me buy, and I hope to add to my garden next year!

  6. I'm totally with you...maybe I should make a deal with myself to buy them once each season?!
