framed wallpaper

I walked into the playhouse I'm decorating to get the measurements and check out the space for the last time until I go back to Utah to do the install. And...my heart sank. I knew it was the end for my first wallpaper project. The walls are textured. Super textured actually. I would need to hire out a professional to come flatten it. I didn't want to give up my frame wallpaper. So it looks like now I am going to frame my frame wallpaper.

It's not so bad actually. I can do it at home and it will save me hours of time in Utah. And if I play my cards right I can pick up some sweet bamboo frames I saw at the wholesale frame shop. I'm going for tall and skinny. The bummer is that the wallpaper is currently sitting inside the playhouse waiting for me. I'll get it back :)

Look at these lovely framed wallpapers that have me inspired.

Spirit lifted! I think it will be the perfect solution.

the time has come

It. Is. On!!!!! This playhouse is finally in the works and I could not be happier. I have been patiently waiting for the little house to be moved from one side of the property to the other. And while I have waited the dreams and expectations have grown...a lot.

A lot has stayed the same

And some things have definitely changed up a bit. I have roughly three weeks to go until the install and lots of little projects to finish. I promise to keep you updated on all the happenings.

when the fabric comes

You know that feeling of joy that comes when your fabric arrives in the mail? For me it usually follows with doubt and fear of the sewing ahead and the hope everything turns out just as I imagined it. I hope I'm not alone in this. I've got the fear!

I love what has come so far.I think all I need now is a pink velvet for the built in window seat and fabric for the backs of pillows. Oh and fabric for piping!

Here is the not yet stuffed pouf with the fabric for you to see.

Isn't the quality amazing! I am still marveling at the craftsmanship and price.

Meanwhile I will be practicing my sewing skills on pillows for my living room that will just about wrap up my 30 projects.

I think I may have seen a tear in my husband's eye when he saw the more masculine choices I made.

awesome pouf deal

This space is coming along swimmingly {even though the install is in a different state} So far everything is working out pretty well, with just a few minor changes. And I am having a blast too! Shopping for it has been so much fun!

The space calls for a pink pouf. You know I love a good Moroccan pouf.

And I was thinking a pink pouf would cost me a pretty penny. I was so happy to have found an amazing deal on eBay. First ever eBay purchase too, can you believe it!?

The quality of the pouf that came was remarkable. I was seriously so impressed. And for $89 and free shipping {plus it came in 2 or 3 days!} it was the deal of a lifetime. They come without the stuffing for cheaper shipping, so now I just have to get my filling on. I cannot wait to buy another one for my house. I highly recommend this deal!
